120-inch Shane Telescope
The Dome of the 120-inch Reflector
The 120-inch reflector is located 1800 feet (550 meters) east of the Main Building. The design of the dome of the 120-inch allows visitors to see the instrument from an enclosed visitors' gallery. Interpretive displays, including an audio-visual presentation, are provided. Wheelchair access to the 120-inch dome can be arranged by calling 408-274-5061 in advance of your visit.
